#167. 206 Bones by Kathy Reichs

Title:
206 Bones
Author:
Kathy Reichs
Genre:
Crime Fiction/Thriller/Forensics
Synopsis:
Brennan awakens to find herself enclosed in a dark space. As she tries to find her way out she must also try to remember what led to her being there and the identity of those responsible.
Verdict:
The accusation of incompetence and the doubt in herself that this inspires gave a twist to proceedings to enhance the investigation. I continue to enjoy the flawed but skilled version of the character that exists in the books on a different level to the procedural drama version who exists in the television show.
